Birmingham voice memo w/ Fust, maintenance issues at the Westin downtown, and novel revisions

CORRECTIONS/ADDITIONS
(post-recording):

I dropped the Fust artwork into the post and saw it full-size, not tiny, on my phone, so now I see that Songs of the Rail is subtitled “The Early Demos.” It is not a proper new album. Fooled me! Also, I looked it up. They’re from Durham, not Asheville. 

Since recording, I’ve bumped around town and seen several good things in Birmingham. There’s a B-league soccer match across from my hotel room tonight, and I can hear the announcer hyping up the minuscule number of fans. I noticed the art museum is two blocks away. I plan to go tomorrow.
